Ice Hockey Bible Minsitry

Hey Guys!

I'm writing with a very special request - as most of you know, I am an avid hockey fan. Well - I have started a ministry this last season, where I have gotten to know a couple of the players, I had the privilage of getting to know them, and I have been given the oppurtunity to witness to them, send them Bible verses weekly, and buy them each a Bible. These couple players have told me how much I have encouraged them, and just by me telling them I'm praying for them, they have told me that they needed to hear that and were having a difficult day. They are opening up more and more all the time to the Word of God!

Well, I don't have a specific name for this unless you just want to call it, "Hockey Ministries"

I have a goal this year to buy each player on the Waterloo Black Hawks & Des Moines Buccaneers team a Bible. These guys need the Lord, and if no one shares the Word of God with them then they are going to hell. I want to be able to play that part in trying to get them to have a sweet relationship with Jesus Christ and to know Him!

But - I can't do that on my own. I'll need it least 23 Bibles, but including the Des Moines team, I'll need 46. Will you join with me in helping me win these guys to Jesus? You could play a big part in helping to grow the Kingdom of God!

So, I'm trying to get the word out as best as I can to try to raise money. I'm hoping to have enough by Christmas. So, I'm asking that you would please help me by donating some money to this cause. I have currently raised $150 dollars, and I need as much money as I can to get Bibles for both teams! Bibles definitely aren't cheap.

If you would like to donate please write me and I will give you more information if you would like, and addresses..etc..

Please be praying for these guys, and be praying about what God may want you to do to help me with this!

This is all about winning these guys for Jesus!

We went to visit Deanna for College Acquaintance Days

We went to go visit Deanna at Kentucky Mountain Bible College for there College Acquaintance days!
We rode down with some friends from IA! :)
Above: A friend gave us some cherished bottles of Ale8! It is a famous soda that is only sold in KY!
Our friend had a couple and gave them to us! YES!

we went down these steep rock stairs, then had to go down a ton of regular stairs.
there were some broken ones, and Tori's leg broke through one! lol! Then we get to the end and this sign was there! lol

On our way home, we popped a tire!

Good times!

We were in a very nice town, our tire was getting fixed there. So we explored!

we had a lot of fun at the park! lol!

Well..That covers our trip! We had a FANTASTIC time!
I told you I was going to post soon! and I FINALLY did! :)

I'm pretty excited because our Iowa Holiness Association Camp is going to start June 13th!

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas from the Rittgers family! For the first time ever, I (Nikki) was told, that I could write the Christmas letter this year! I’m trusting you are having a WONDERFUL Christmas season so far, as are we!
This has been a very busy year for us! Dad has continued to stay pretty busy. He has been on many revivals this year and has seen many lives changed and truly blessed! Praise the Lord!! When he is not out on the road, he does some screen printing at Karen’s Print Rite and Prosign. Dad always enjoys doing stuff with his family such as, playing games, having family devotions, and even a occasional volleyball or basketball game!
Mom also continues to stay busy! She continues to home school me and Tori, and does a great job! She really enjoys making Christmas goodies…makes the house smell so yummy!! Mom really enjoys the snow that is falling to the ground. We love going outside and building a snowman together, or going sledding as a family! Mom is a wonderful influence on us three girls!
Deanna… oh, where to begin! Deanna has been very busy lately! Last July, Deanna attended a Bible camp in West Virginia. She was a girl dorm parent! When she got home, with many prayers prayed, she decided that God wanted her to attend a college in Kentucky, Kentucky Mountain Bible College. She heard of the school through friends and some camps that she had attended. She decided to go not too long before school started. We scurried around to get things in order so that she could attend! We know it was God’s will, He worked everything out just right! She is doing very well at college! She is the piano player for the choir and has made many friends! We have enjoyed having her home for break! For part of the Thanksgiving break, she brought a young man, Paul Poe, home with her. He is a great friend of ours! He lives in IA, and, he attended the Iowa Holiness camp, which we attend yearly. He also attends KMBC and he gives Deanna rides to campus and back. He came up for part of the Thanksgiving break. While he was here, Mom and Dad gave their permission for them to start courting! So.. as you can see, Deanna is doing very well at school! With God, anything is possible! He worked everything out so perfectly!
Tori has been doing well! She has taken over a lot of Deanna’s responsibilities. And has started taking piano lessons again with me! She also is now a fan of the Florida Gator football team! So now, she has to keep up with not only the Black Hawks but the Gators!! She also is still rooting for her Waterloo Black Hawks! We still have season tickets, and she really enjoys watching them play! She recently bought a Waterloo Black Hawks jersey to wear to the game. She had her favorite players name and number put on the back. It looks like a game worn jersey! Tori also got her driver’s permit this year so watch out! She continues to suffer from middle -child syndrome! I’m sure many of you who are a middle child know what she is talking about! She adds a little more humor into the household with her jokes, and occasional “Rants.” : )
Now me.. I’m doing good! Staying pretty busy! I continue to like hockey as well as going to some Volleyball and Basketball games. I’m in this year’s Christmas program and enjoy going over my lines and working on the songs. I play the commentator, Karen Kline! I also enjoy cooking, and playing a good ol’ game of Scrabble, or Stratego! I’m always up for the challenge! I also still enjoy playing the piano and taking lessons!
We also added a new addition to our family which I’m very happy about! We got a new little black kitten named Boo! 3 black kittens showed up in our garage the day before Halloween. We found homes for two of them and kept one! She is so sweet! And we love her! Prinny and Boo love to play together they are so funny! Now if she would just stay out of our tree!! : )
So that is what has been going on in the Rittgers’ household! We hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a great New Year! Please take some time to remember the true meaning of Christmas this season!

LOTS AND LOTS OF SNOW!

We have had..LOTS AND LOTS of snow this week!
We have had between 12-15 inches! And BITTERLY cold weather!!!
Brrrrr.... That's Iowa for ya!

More snow!!! This is our deck!

At about...oh...midnight, I decided to go out and measure the snow...and that was the first day of our blizzard!

Me all decked out to go to a friends house!!
I got even more bundled up today! It was -6 but with wind chill it was -20!!!

Merry (early) Christmas everyone!

I'm back in the blogging spirit! I've been really in the mood to post more and stuff! So..I did a lot of different stuff on my blog! And I hope you enjoy it! Be prepared to have a lot more posts ! Maybe a post a week! =)

We had a lot of fun yesterday, as we started putting up all the Christmas decorations! Including the tree!

This is our little new kitten! Boo! She is so sweet! I'll tell you more about her in the pictures down.

Boo and her 2 sisters, showed up in our garage on Halloween Eve!

They were all SOOO sweet!

We had NO CLUE where there mom was or anything!

So..we kept one, and found homes for the other 2. The other 2 kittens got to stay together.

Boo LOVES it here! She is always purring! Her and Prinny love to play together, and get along really well!

We took her to the vet probably a week to 2 weeks ago. and then they said she was 10 weeks old! so she is probably 11 or 12 weeks old! And she is perfectly healthy!

It was really strange not having Deanna there to put up the tree with us.

But we kept the ornaments off, we all have personal boxes of ornaments, that we made or bought. And we saved them so all three of us could put our boxes of ornaments on together!

We took these so we could put them on Face book and on here, so Deanna could see them!

And when she looked at the shoe and saw the spider on it she freaked out and kneed the entertainment center and the glass shattered and went everywhere! At 7:00 in the morning!! HAHA! it was so funny! she wasn't hurt or anything. but it was hilarious!

As we take Deanna to Kentucky Tomorrow,

I Know that I will miss her, But God will make away, and will help me through it!

Tomorrow we will be leaving to take Deanna to Kentucky for COLLEGE!!!

We also are making it into a vacation and going to a museum and dropping her off and just making it a vacation! It will be fun!! BUT HARD!

Update!! With Exciting News! So PLEASE Read!

Well....today we are cleaning, and such! Right now I'm singing to some Southern Gospel!
Tomorrow is HAIRCUTS! Um.... There was a storm the other day ! A tornado warning we all had to go to the basement at chruch! AHH! There was a storm a while ago and it knocked down a TREE! Split it in the middle! AHHH!! Well...Now for the exciting news! My Sister is going to college in Kentucky! Kentucky Mountain Bible College! We leave this Sunday to take her down! Or Up! Wherever! LOL.... I'm glad for her! But it will be very hard letting her go! I Will Miss her REALLY much! Also I got Facebook last month! If any of you have facebook feel free to look me up!

I'm so very sorry for not posting sooner!!

We have been SO busy!!!

Before 4Th of July we had our cousin over and made HOMEMADE pizza and watched a movie!

The Nanny Express!!

That's about it...

Here is that pizza recipe! It is DELICIOUS!

1 1/2 cup of warm water

2 Tablespoons of sugar

1 pkg of yeast

2 Tablespoons of olive oil

1/2 teaspoon of salt

Mix until yeast is blended. Mix in 3 cups of flour (more as needed)

Go slowly with the last cup and then keep adding more until the dough is soft but not sticky. (it is always a little sticky) You can use whole and half regular flour if desired.

Spread on lightly greased pan. Will make a very large pizza or 2 medium.

Mix one package of spaghetti seasoning with one 6 oz can of tomato paste and one 6 oz. of tomato sauce. add water until sauce is easy to spread, but not to watery. The amount depends on personal taste. (you can freeze any leftover)

If you have a favorite pizza sauce just use it.

add favorite topping. Bake at 450 degrees for about 15 min. or until the crust and cheese is sorta brown.

This is a recipe you just kinda have to experiment with and make it how you like!!

These are the basics. make it the first time and then the next time think what could I've done better?? Tell it is just right!!

Well, we had some very interesting weather the other night, totally NOT fun, sirens blew, basement, really windy, thoughts that a tornado had touched down. Stuff of the sort that comes with Spring and summer that I hate!!!! Well... we got through it, and there was no tornado.

Just some limbs down and STILL very windy!! SO HERE ARE SOME PICS..... I actully took this at the concert. the weather was so beautiful outside, I took this picture.

Hey all thought I'd post,
We got our pool up yesterday! I was excited! We have LOTS of floaties for our pool! (any floatie lovers out there?) But I jumped in the pool yesterday! It was really cold, and it probably wasn't the warmest day to swim. it was nice out. but really windy our floaties were flying everywhere! But it was eventful! Also we went to our local fair, to a talent show, that was really fun.
And the other night there was a tornado warning, they told us on the radio they thought they saw one touch down about 10 min. from our house!!! We were in the basement. and it was REALLY windy outside! When we got upstairs there were a number of limbs that were down in our yard! I'll have some pictures coming up here soon of stuff you'll just have to wait and see! So hold on tight!

Hello Everyone,

I'm kinda in a hurry, but I thought I'd post some pictures of camp!

I'll have a few more pictures and videos coming soon!I was going to put the last 9 pictures on this post, but blogger wouldn't let me but I got enough pictures on here probably anyway!

Camp was wonderful! It was fun, and we made many friends, but most importantly we learned more about God! And that is what it is all about!

Nathan Hunter was our song leader, and he had a choir, It was so fun! a choir, they hadn't Had one in 7 years!

This is Thursday, we are doing a youth session for the adults!

Dr. Flick was our Evangelist! He is a wonderful, loving,kind man! and I got a lot out of his services! I thank him so much!

And we figured out that there are 6 or 7 services a day! They were all wonderful! we all love being able to learn more about God! And this year he really blessed us! just to let you know we only have probably 2-3 hours of activities a day, these pictures are from all throughout the week!

Hello Everyone!

I thought I'd post because, it will be my last post! ! Don't get scatterbrained! I'm just kidding!

But it will be my last post tell the 21 or the 22. Because we are leaving for Holiness camp tomorrow morning! I'm WAY excited, I seriously have X's on my calender marking down the days! (is that ridiculous or what!) we all have been looking forward to camp and when its here we are SO excited! But anyway , I thought I'd post .

Well I can't give you any pictures because are computer has been acting dumb lately and won't let me upload any pictures! So I'll write what i was going to picture!

Well Pittsburgh won the championship!!!! They are the 2009 Stanley cup CHAMPIONS! (pro hockey team league!) GO THEM! Great job guys! You DEFEATED the HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE! Detroit Red Wings...... GO PITTSBURGH!!!!! If you can't tell, Detroit is our LEAST favorite team in the league! their fans also have way bad sportsmanship! Booing when someone gets hurt booing when Pittsburgh won instead of Detroit! And we just don't like the team in general! Well that takes care of the hockey season! But i will say that Detroit made a good comeback last night but it wasn't good enough! And through the playoffs I think Pittsburgh will be my new favorite team in the league for next season!

And our Black Hawks, our team in a town near by. This is no longer pro. They were beat out in the first round!

I no this is a random post but hey, it's something right?

Thank God, our garage sale went well! We are so thankful it turned out alright!

Oh and pray for Good weather at our camp please! weather in our town has been rainy for the past week or two. and I'm sick of it! we all are hoping praying, for good weather at camp!

while I'm gone, I encourage you to NOT leave my blog. Even though this might be my last post for a week or so, please take time, to go through my old posts, old pictures and fun times! until I get back. then you will get a post from IHA! Hello all Readers!This is Nikki. (as you know!)I was just writing to let you know about "Holiness Camp" for teens, in Oskaloosa IA ! It is a GREAT camp with lots of games, activities, prayer meetings, and church services! Our speakers are Nathan Hunter for the music, and Stephen Flick for the minister! They are GREAT speakers! Also my Dad is doing the youth portion - he will be speaking for the youth and planning the games! Some of my favorite activities is playing Capture the Flag (which is the "Highlight") and watching an appropriate movie. And there are many more games, good services, and GREAT TURNOUTS! It is held at the Vennard College in Oskaloosa, IA. It is $75 and that includes your dorm, food, drinks, etc. And also $10 for bowling or spending money.We all hope to see you there! If you want to go, or want more info just comment. You can also go to the website, http://www.iowaholinessassociation.org/ for any info! Or like I said just comment. The dates are June 14-20. On the 20th there will be a quick clean-up and a devotional for the teens - it should be finished around 11:00-11:30. Registration is from 5:30-6:30 June 14.Also just comment or go to the website and look under the "what to bring" section, for there is a dress code! You can check that out or ask me in a comment. Tornado warnings. PLEASE READ!

Well.... It all started.... Yesterday,
Yesterday We had quite the experience at church!! !!
I was frightened to death!
Sunday night we go to church. We live in the old parsonage of the church so we are right next door. So... We walk over to church and it is raining. It had been pouring, thundering,lightning, and windy basically non-stop all day! Well... I got to church and my friend tells me we are in a tornado watch(later I found out it was actually a warning!). I didn't think much about it. Then Pastor came to the pulpit and said, "If the sirens were to go off, we need to head out through the choir doors and down into the choir room. That is the safest place to be,'cause its underground." Well.... then I started to get a little nervous. Sure enough while pastor was praying for the offering, the sirens went off. Pastor didn't hear them at first, but I did and got up and went to the back to mom and asked her if we could go home! Yeah I know it sounds dumb, but remember we only live next door. I wanted to get home, not only would I feel better, but we could get our pets to the basement too. She said, "No we are going to the basement here." So we walked through the choir doors and down the steep stairs. I took a glimpse outside, thinking Who knows?? It might be our last!! Well... we got downstairs, said a prayer, and we all sang Jesus Loves Me. Then we hung in tight. Someone who was watching upstairs said it was absolutely down-pouring! A friend was getting calls on her cellphone and said in a town nearby a tornado had just touched down!!
Yeah that got my heart rate up a little bit! Well... then she got another call saying that in another town close by it was pitch black, hailing, and VERY WINDY!!! So there we sat! Pastor said that once the storm passed he suggested that we all go home. He wasn't going to be preaching tonight. So everyone waited. Then after we had been downstairs for about 20-30 minutes, the weather radio said that the warning would expire in a few minutes.
We decided it was good enough to run home! A lot of people came up to look out the doors to see if they wanted to venture out in this! We were also in a flash flood warning and the front sidewalk was full with water and mud! Quite the combination huh? So I put a plastic sack on my head and we ventured out. Once we walked out it started raining pretty hard again. So... we ran down the ramp and tried to scurry home as fast as we could. When we got in we were all VERY WET!! We got inside and turned the news on. It said another tornado touched down in Wisconsin and many other places. But we were going to be fine! The warning was over and the tornado in the nearby town went the other direction!! PRAISE THE LORD! So we got in some dry clothes and played a game!
It felt like something you would see in a movie or something! So that was the extent of our evening!
Please be praying for the people who did have damage from the recent tornadoes.
Also, please continue to pray for Dad and Tori who are in Eldorado Springs, MO. Thank you!

Today is April 20.....

One decade ago this girl and many others were killed.

I thought I would high-light this girl in particular.

This girl was a Christian, and put others life before hers.

I finished her book which I totally recommend!

What this girl did, should be a example to all of us!

Hello everyone!

I finally got to posting about Chicago!

Here we go!

We took a train down to down town Chicago - waiting for the train to come in!

The pastors daughter - Becky came along with us! It was way fun!
Here we just got off the train - we were trying to figure out which way to go!

I don't know what building this is, but I had the idea and mom tried it! I thought it was very cool!

She is a really great sister! And I'm so blessed to have one like her!

Merry Christmas!

This is our CHRISTmas letter and picture! Thought I would share it with all of you!

Have a merry CHRISTmas!

“ Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful, and since we’ve no place to go - let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!”

As I write this year’s Christmas letter, we are experiencing a typical Iowa winter storm. We are supposed to get 4-8 inches with another storm in just a few days. It is so beautiful outside - I love the snow! I can hardly wait to get outside and build a snowman, make snow angels, and go sledding or ice skating! I know some of you probably think I’m crazy - but it is one of the things I love about living in Iowa.

This year has been quite an eventful one for our family. In June, we experienced terrible flooding throughout Iowa! Our home, along with many others, was flooded. We had a basement full of water as well as a few inches on our main level. With the help of many wonderful people we were able to move everything out of our basement, finishing up just minutes before we had to evacuate our home. We lost everything in both of our garages & some things on our main floor - but overall our loss was minimal compared to so many others who literally lost everything. To make a long story short, we have moved to Cedar Falls, IA. With the help of more wonderful people, we packed everything up into boxes and moved to our new home all in one day! The Lord in his wonderful wisdom, had this home ready & waiting for us. We spent months cleaning & repairing our flooded home - once again with the help of many wonderful people, and continued to try to sell it. We recently had an offer and we will be closing within the next couple weeks! Praise the Lord! Through it all - we have truly seen the hand of God at work and give Him praise for His sustaining grace!

Now onto other news!

Deanna is 18 and will be 19 in February. She graduated from high school this last May in Des Moines along with about 100 other homeschoolers. I have to admit that I felt a mixture of pride, relief, and amazement as I watched Deanna receive her diploma! I was never actually sure I could do this “home school thing” through high school, and she actually turned out okay!! : ) She is still at home for now and is staying very busy as our ministry secretary, playing piano at church, teaching the teen Sunday School, leading Bright Lights, and traveling with her dad quite frequently. A couple of highlights for her this year - getting her driver’s license and voting for the first time! (even though it had to be by absentee as she was in North Dakota!)

Tori is a sophomore this year and will be turning 16 in January. She misses having Deanna to “do school” with and can’t wait until she can graduate as well. She hoped to get her permit this last fall, but mom couldn’t find her birth certificate, so now she will have to wait till spring. Until then - she enjoys
cruising around our house/church property! Tori recently played “Peggy Sue” , a 50’s style angel from the past, in our church’s Christmas program. She had a “peachy-keen” time!! Tori keeps busy traveling with dad, playing piano on Sundays, doing power point at church, frequently updating her blog, and following her Waterloo Blackhawks!

Nikki - my “baby” - was excited to turn a decade old in August! Makes this mom feel kind of old! She is in 5th grade this year and enjoys school. Nikki is still quite the chatterbox and can make a friend quicker than most people can blink! One of her newest interests is her new blog! She saw Tori working on her blog and decided she wanted one too- so she pretty much set one up all by herself! The girls have made friends with other Christian girls all over the world through their blogs! Nikki continues to be a HUGE hockey fan, loves playing with her gerbil Sammy, and had her first piano recital this year.

We have definitely learned that this thing called LIFE is all about change! We never would have guessed that we would move our family three times in the last three years, and live through a catastrophic flood. Del & I will be celebrating 25 years together next August - we’ve had our ups and downs - but neither one of us would trade this life together for anything! Del continues to spend many weeks on the road. He loves traveling and ministering in various churches. He continues to serve on the Iowa Holiness Association Board, leads music at our local church, and works as a screen printer when not on the road. Each of the girls loves taking a turn traveling with their dad - and this BIG girl loves getting a turn occasionally as well!!

One big highlight for our family this year was holding a revival in the Chicago area! We were all able to go - which is a rarity for us - and we had the time of our lives taking a train to downtown Chicago and sight-seeing! Special thanks to Rev. Mark & Paula Else who were our hosts and tour guides! We are looking forward to a return trip in the spring.

Another highlight was our first Iowa Hawkeye game! Del and I were given two tickets from a friend - what a great time we had! And now they are off to a bowl game! Go Hawks!

We recently returned from our annual Evangelists’ Gathering in Indiana - this is always a highlight of our year! It is such an honor to be with those that we have looked up to for years - the great giants of the faith! We were blessed by the preaching of Linda Seaman, Dr. Steven Manley, Rev. Tim Stearman, and General Superintendent J.K. Warrick. We enjoyed the music of Adam’s Voice, Gary Haines and Mark Murphy. The beautiful four-star hotel and delicious Amish cooked meals were top-notch! Special thanks to Dr. Chuck Milhuff and Joy Nash who provide this for the evangelists and families each year.

Well, once again I’ve written a book! We are so thankful for each of you - we are blessed to have you in our lives. Most of all we are thankful for our Lord and Savior whose birth we celebrate at this time of year and we look forward to His soon return! God bless you all!

Rittgers Up-date!

I'm sorry one and all - I'm sure my blog has been seeming like a dud lately.

Well, Sasha and I have been working to get my blog spruced up! So....she and I have been e-mailing. She and I are working to find some neat backgrounds and some other things that will really make this blog fun!

Anyways, we returned home from Indiana Evangelist Gathering on Wednesday and had a wonderful time! I will be posting pictures of that ASAP!

We have been so busy lately! Tomorrow we have a really long Christmas program practice! It is scheduled from 1:00 to 4:30 but we are behind so she said that it might even be longer! *shrug* The program is this Sunday! AHHH! Please pray that all goes well! I play Buffy the Angel...the modern day angel! We have been practicing since October and it seems sometimes like a never ending process! It should go fine though! But all of us would please ask for your prayers! They would be much appreciated!

I have started writing a novel. I'm going to try so hard to stick with it! I normally get a beginning started but two words I haven't ever got to is 'The End'! Pray that I will be able to go and get it done! It won't be a really long novel - not near as long as Arianna at Random Thoughts is! But who knows - maybe I'll get writing happy, you never know!

I'm anxiously waiting for Christmas to arrive! I love CHRISTmas!!! Every day I count down the days until Christmas!

I love all the decorations, goodies, setting up the tree, watching Christmas movies, getting and sending out Christmas cards, setting up the tree, all the curiousity, the smell of freshly baked cookies, singing Christmas carols, the Christmas play, etc.....I love Christmas but sometimes it is hard to concentrate on the true meaning of Christmas! But just remember the true gift of Christmas was a baby...JESUS! Christ is born! ALLELUIA!! What do you folks normally do for Christmas?? Are there any traditions that you are like "it's a tradition! We have to do that!" I do! What is your favorite part of Christmas (besides Jesus)?? The goodies? The decorations? The caroling? Tell me! We all make homemade Nativity sets - each of us girls make a piece to add to our little Nativity set! It is really fun! I love it! I want to go sledding so bad! I love sledding and making snowmen! Do any other people like building snowmen?? Or as some people would say Sand Man? LOL. Sledding and making a snow man isn't just for kids! Grown-ups do it too!

We have so much snow it is not even funny! I'm like so dreaming of a white Christmas!
I love white fluffy snow! Until it starts to melt and you are like this snow is really yucky! It is like slush and it is disgusting!!!!!! But for the time being it is really pretty!

Our family of course has been going to our annual weekend hockey game! It is way fun! As we all go in our gear to cheer on our Black Hawks! It takes up most of our weekends but we don't mind! My blog is going to be (hopefully) all in hockey! Let me describe what my header means. A powerplay is an attempt to score by a team which has a numerical advantage in players due to a penalty or penalties. (The description was taken from the program from our hockey games!)Make sense?? So....maybe from that you can get what my header means, Powerplay 4 Him! But we love hockey! It is by far my favorite sport!

Pet-wise we have a dog, Princess (A.K.A Prinny), and a gerbil Samantha (A.K.A Sammy)! They are also a big part of our life!

Well.....I hope I haven't bored you too much! I will have pictures from Indiana up soon! The motel rooms were so cool!

Have a Merry CHRISTmas! And like I said earlier, remember the true meaning of Christmas this year! Every day is a gift from God - that is why they call it the present!

I'm with the help of Sasha doing a really different look for my blog. it's getting a whole no "do" if you know what I mean!! LOL. So stay tune it will all be coming hopefully soon!!!!
Well this is to short of a post, what should I say???
We are leaving for Indiana tomorrow so don't think I've vanished into thin air!
We will (if the weather is okay) be back this Wednesday! So today we have to pack and get the house in order. (For some reason we have to clean the house before we leave even though no soul is going to see it! ) GO FIGURE!!!
Well right now I'm sitting at the computer posting to all of you with a plate of mashed potatoes and gravy and roast on my lap right now and just about getting ready to let the dog inside!
Just a second, (sound of door opening, a dog running into the house, putting leash back on hook, shutting door, locking the door). Alright I'm back, if you couldn't tell I was letting the dog in. well I don't know what to say!
Pray for the Christmas program and for our safety to Indiana tomorrow!

A few days ago we put up our Christmas decorations!!

I love Christmas!

And then last night we put up our tree!

We lost our tree in the flood, so our Grandparents

gave us there tree!

Thank you G'pa and G'ma!!!

They just re-roofed our home and they forgot to put the eaves back up!

So there was quite alot of snow that formed on there!

Every Christmas we try to see who was the cutest , well we all think we were the cutest!

I was telling mom not to tell Deanna that I hid them!!

And pray for our Christmas party tonight!

Deanna teaches the teens and pre-teens and we our having a Christmas party for that class tonight!

Pray that it all goes well!

And last but not least,

Pray for the flood victims, as some still have water in there house!

Many people need to get done by winter!

Which here it has already come!

Pray that through the flood many lives will be changed for the better!

Hello everyone!

I hope you all had a Super-duper Thanksgiving!!

I know I did!

We had my dads family up, That's 16 in all!

They all came over to our house!

Needless to say, there was a lot of cooking,setting up our thanksgiving pilgrims and many many more!

We have never had that many people up for Thanksgiving!

But I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hope you all are having a great day!

We are having some family up and I'll have some pictures later but for now this is it!

We have so much to be thankful for!!

for God's strength and love and how He helps us even in sorrow and tough times!

Hey fellow blogging mates,
Just wanted to post and ask you for a MAJOR prayer request!!!
Are church is having a Christmas Program!And I wanted to ask for your prayers while we go through this and try to learn this program! Deanna,Tori and myself are in this program and we have to have our lines memorized by the 30Th of November!! Needless to say, we have been working REALLY HARD! The program takes place on December 14Th! It is a musical and Tori and Me have a solo! And we also have some Trios. But we all ask that you will pray that this will go well, and that we can learn all of our lines and songs quickly! Thank you from all the kids and adults who are in this program! Pray for the leader and that God will help her as she continues to help us with this Program!!
